
From September 23 to 27, at the 25th China International Industry Fair (Shanghai), Hall 8.1H, booth C196, Shanghai 3Srobotics Technology Co., Ltd. appeared with its “AI + AGV cart + robot” mobile welding robot solution. The solution is equipped with 3Srobotics’ self-developed “3-in-1” intelligent welding system, targeting space-constrained scenarios with a new option of “no modification of existing production lines, production in as fast as 1 hour”, especially suited to vertical-face welding needs such as fuel tanks and transformers.

Technology as the Core, Welding No Longer “Relies on Experience”
3Srobotics’ self-developed “3-in-1” intelligent welding system integrates 3D vision recognition, intelligent weld-seam planning and dynamic path compensation, with teach-free and programming-free operation, forming complex weld seams in a single pass. At the booth, the robot performed cyclic simulation demonstrations on irregular weld seams and fillet weld seams, autonomously recognizing and instantly planning, so that visitors could see the rapid welding of seams without waiting.
Welding is no longer a “manual labor” of flying sparks, but a data-driven “technical job”.

Flexible Deployment, Live in 1 Hour
After the equipment arrives on site, it only needs 3D vision photographic modeling, tool coordinate calibration and process package invocation, requiring no foundation, track or production-stoppage modification. Once the mobile workstation is in position, it can start arc welding in as fast as 1 hour, truly realizing “deploy and produce immediately”.
Scenario Generalization, One Vehicle for Multiple Uses
It has a built-in process library for common joints in steel structures, fuel tanks and construction machinery, with one-key switching on the PC end. During changeover, the robot automatically matches welding parameters and weaving methods without manual intervention, easily handling various working conditions such as vertical welding, fillet welding and thick-plate multi-layer multi-pass welding.
100% Weld Reproduction, Quality Unaffected by Personnel Changes
Welding paths and parameters are stored in the cloud as encrypted files, unaffected by vehicle changes, shift changes or site changes, instantly restoring the same weld seam. When different operators weld separately over two days, the sample parts form identically, and comparison with the same weld gauge shows no significant difference, achieving “whoever welds, it’s the same”.
Multi-Vehicle Collaboration, Even Corners Become a “Production Line”
A single AGV can operate independently, or connect to MES through its built-in scheduling interface; multiple devices take turns entering stations to complete A/B-face relay welding, requiring no crane and no fixed platform, instantly giving traditional blind spots such as beside columns and passage openings welding capability.


Cooperation and Exchange, Building an Ecosystem Together
During the expo, 3Srobotics exchanged with multi-brand teams on deep integration of mobile welding power sources and control cabinets as well as process cloud sharing, agreeing to continue matching in fields such as shipbuilding, bridges and steel structures, jointly advancing the deployment of AI welding.
