GGII Summit Review | 3Srobotics Industrial Embodied Robot Takes Center Stage

From July 22 to 23, the “2025 Industrial Embodied Application Summit and (8th) GGII Robotics Integrator Conference”, hosted by GGII Robotics and GGII Robot Industry Research Institute, was grandly held at the Mingdu Hotel in Wuxi, Jiangsu. The conference was supported by Shanghai 3Srobotics Technology Co., Ltd. (“3Srobotics” for short), AtomRobot, UQI and dozens of robotics industry chain enterprises. This conference invited automotive industry application terminal enterprises, non-standard automation equipment integrators, high-end intelligent equipment and supporting manufacturers, embodied AI robotics enterprises, robot body and component supporting enterprises, warehousing and logistics equipment providers and integrators, industrial software enterprises and others to participate, making it a heavyweight industry summit. This event brought together many leading enterprises and experts in the industry to jointly discuss the frontier technologies and application trends of industrial embodied intelligence. As an outstanding player in the embodied intelligence field, Shanghai 3Srobotics Technology Co., Ltd. was invited to attend.

In the GGII Consulting “Innovation for Lasting Success” special session, ten sets of data pointed directly at the industry’s tipping point: sensor upgrades and the surge of simulation data are filling the core gaps, with hundreds of financing rounds in half a year and single rounds at the 100-million level adding further momentum. 3Srobotics has prepared its “cerebellum + brain” integrated platform and capacity ecosystem, sprinting with customers toward the 10-billion market of 2026.

3Srobotics R&D Vice President Mr. Zhang Xinzhu delivered a brilliant speech on “The Application of Embodied Intelligence in the Welding Field”. Mr. Zhang Xinzhu pointed out that 3Srobotics focuses on entering from vertical scenarios, committed to building “mechanical welders” with autonomous perception, decision-making and execution capabilities for manufacturing enterprises. Through continuous technological R&D and innovation, 3Srobotics has now undergone three generations of product iteration, successfully realizing the upgrade from traditional programming-modeled industrial robots to autonomous mobile intelligent welding robots, multi-legged mobile welding robots and humanoid products, with over 4,000 robots shipped and put into use in 2024 alone. As introduced, 3Srobotics’ new-generation intelligent welding robots have achieved major technical breakthroughs, requiring no cumbersome teaching and model import processes, and can precisely reconstruct workpieces with AI+3D vision technology, truly achieving one-key startup and automatic welding, opening a new chapter of intelligent evolution in the welding field.

In the subsequent roundtable dialogue session, hosted by Zheng Liyao, General Manager of GGII Consulting, industry elites including Junpu AI and Humanoid Robot Research Institute CTO Shen Tianyao, UQI Deputy General Manager Sun Kaishun, Mech-Mind Robotics General Manager Wei Lilong, Zhidongli Founder and CTO Dr. Xiang Kui, Wuxi Xinhongye Chief Engineer Cui Jiude, and 3Srobotics R&D Vice President Zhang Xinzhu, engaged in in-depth and heated discussions on hot topics such as “Will industrial embodied intelligence ‘go to work’ first in warehousing and logistics or in production line assembly?” and “What is the ranking of key elements for the deployment of industrial embodied intelligence — scenario, supply chain or cost?”. The guests, combining their enterprises’ practical experience and industry insights, expressed their views, with intense intellectual collision on site, providing many valuable ideas and insights for the future development direction of industrial embodied intelligence.

Among them, 3Srobotics’ Mr. Zhang Xinzhu looked ahead, saying that robots will in the future become a carrier or platform like today’s mobile phones, with factories turning individual “functions” into options, pre-installing corresponding “function groups” at the factory according to user needs, becoming a personalized, customized robot. Consumers will subscribe, assemble and upgrade on demand like choosing Apps, as robots evolve from “all-purpose” to “made for me”, becoming the most personal, lightest, and on-demand terminal platform.

The successful holding of this conference built a feast of intellectual collision and technical exchange for the industrial embodied intelligence field. With its deep accumulation and innovative breakthroughs in the welding field, 3Srobotics not only demonstrated the mature application of embodied intelligence technology in vertical scenarios, but also pointed the way for industry development on the basis of practice. In the future, with the continuous iteration of technology and the expansion of deployment scenarios, 3Srobotics is expected to continue leading in the industrial embodied intelligence wave, driving manufacturing toward a smarter and more efficient direction.
