The “Create·In Shanghai” International Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition is a brand event co-hosted by the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission, the Shanghai Municipal Development and Reform Commission and other organizations. Previews the physical behavior of the entire welding process in a digital-twin environment — heat conduction, molten-pool flow, solidification and crystallization, and post-weld residual stress distribution — enabling virtual validation and optimization of the welding process solution before line deployment, effectively shortening process development cycles and reducing trial-and-error costs.

Multimodal AI Vision Guidance

Through high-precision 3D vision, it perceives weld seam positions and shape changes in real time and, combined with adaptive trajectory planning algorithms, lets the welding robot “see and adjust” like an experienced welder, autonomously adjusting welding parameters under complex conditions such as workpiece assembly deviations, uneven plate gaps and thermal deformation.

Welding Process Knowledge Graph

Systematically digitizes and models decades of accumulated welding process know-howinto a large-scale process knowledge base covering groove shapes, base materials, wire matching, pass strategies and heat-input control, supporting intelligent recommendation and continuous iteration of welding solutions.

The solution has completedindustrial-grade validation in benchmark customer projects across steel structures, shipbuilding, bridges and heavy industry, significantly improving weld quality consistency and process efficiency.
