3、Dr. Zhan Ye Yang: Physical AI Is the Core Engine Driving Robot Intelligence
Dr. Zhan Ye Yang currently serves as CTO of 3Srobotics. He graduated from the Power Transmission and Motion Control (PTMC) Centre at the University of Bath in the UK and has more than a decade of experience in R&D and management in the field of intelligent robotics.
Dr. Yang previously held a key R&D role at Plus.ai, an autonomous trucking company, and served as a researcher at the Hong Kong Intelligent Construction Research Institute. Through these roles, he has developed extensive cross-disciplinary expertise spanning intelligent driving and robotics.
As the company’s technology lead, Dr. Yang oversees the end-to-end product development of 3Srobotics’ embodied intelligent welding robots, as well as the R&D and deployment of core systems including the “Welding Brain” and “Welding Cerebellum.” His work has been instrumental in advancing the company’s products from automated welding toward intelligent welding, and in driving the deeper integration of AI with advanced manufacturing.
