Choosing the right robot line, payload and reach for your application.
-
It comes down to how much of your cycle is welding.
- General-purpose robots suit handling, machine tending, palletising and mixed-duty cells where welding is occasional or absent.
- Intelligent welding robots ship with the torch, wire feed, seam tracking and welding process packages already integrated and commissioned, so you are not assembling a welding cell from parts.
If welding is the primary process, the welding line will reach production quality faster. If you expect the cell to be repurposed across several processes, the general-purpose line keeps more options open.
